It’s important to protect sources no matter what, and to understand what details should be left out of the reporting if the result could be someone getting injured or hurt. Above all, television journalists should seek to report the truth so that the public can be informed in a fair and balanced way.
If these criteria sound perfect and individuals have an interest in television journalism, there is a chance that they would do really well in this career. However, if it sounds like a bit too much school and too many things to worry about during work – individuals should perhaps save their ambition and drive for another type of career.
